Non-small cell lung carcinoma is a leading cause of cancer-related death worldwide, emphasizing the urgent need for the development of new therapies with high efficacy. Thus, this project aims to generate innovative bi-specific T-cell engagers-based nanosystems (nanoBiTEs), with ability to simultaneously target both T-cells and cancer cells, and to co-deliver anticancer and immunomodulatory drugs, in order to overcome and revert the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, and induce T-cells activation for a strong antitumor activity with reduced
side effects.
