Dear CiBB community,
The Meet Our Job initiative is back for a second edition, on the 30th of June 2026, at FCTUC auditorium, in Polo II of UC, to showcase alternatives to the scientific research career!
Given the challenging scientific landscape currently faced in Portugal, we believe it is essential to explore and aspire to alternative career paths beyond scientific research within academia.
With this in mind, as representatives of postdoctoral researchers and researchers at CiBB, we are committed to organizing an event aimed at the UC community in the Health Sciences area that will provide students and researchers with direct contact with individuals who have, in one way or another, made this transition.
The event will include sessions of talks, networking opportunities, and a roundtable discussion. Attendance will be free of charge, but registration is mandatory until June 21, 2026.
Late registrations (from June 21 to June 29) will be subject to availability.
