International Day of Immunology aims to disseminate the scientific progress in the field of Immunology and to raise awareness of the immune system as a basis for health and well-being. This initiative is celebrated annually on April 29th, and it was created by the European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS) and it is promoted in Portugal by the Portuguese Society of Immunology.
CNC has been celebrating this day with lectures, games, “hands-on” activities and open labs for high school students, in order to share the research that is being done at CNC in the field on Immunology.
